In the 2023 regular season, the Dolphins showcased their prowess, emerging as one of the NFL’s standout teams. Despite stumbling in the final two games, they clinched an impressive 11-6 record, sharing the top spot in the AFC East division with the Buffalo Bills.
Notably, Miami boasted one of the league’s most potent offenses throughout the regular season. With an average of 29.2 points per game, they ranked second in scoring, trailing only the Dallas Cowboys.
Hill played a pivotal role in driving the Dolphins’ offensive success. Across 16 regular-season appearances, the 29-year-old wide receiver amassed an impressive 1,799 receiving yards.
However, the team faced significant struggles in their playoff defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs on January 13th. Miami’s offense faltered, mustering only seven points and 264 total yards in a game where they succumbed to a 19-point loss.
Furthermore, Tyreek Hill himself experienced a dip in performance against his former team, the Chiefs, tallying just 62 receiving yards on five receptions, albeit scoring the Dolphins’ sole touchdown of the game.
